Sun royal editor Duncan Larcombe and three others are to be prosecuted in connection with Operation Elveden, the Met Police investigation into allegations of unlawful payments by News International staff to public officials. This afternoon’s announcement brings the total number of people facing charges over Elveden to 17, of whom the following eight are journalists.
