IMPRESS is the UK’s only officially recognised independent press regulator. Unlike the industry-backed IPSO, which has repeatedly failed the public by siding with powerful publishers, IMPRESS meets the rigorous standards set out in the Leveson Report. It provides fair and impartial complaints handling, supports quality journalism, and protects the rights of ordinary people against press misconduct.

In the coming year, we need your financial support to campaign for more newspapers to join IMPRESS and uphold the principles of independent regulation.
